My top 10 beefs with RPG gaming (in no particular order) that are all too common.
1. Being able to see all the weapons, armor or clothing available in the game at the beginning or within a very short time.
2. Cookie-cutter NPC faces and/or voices.
3. Clutter. Items that have nothing to do with gameplay that are found or collected in barrels or chests.
4. Leveled creatures/bad guys within a non-linear game.
5. Overly-large empty landscapes... Read more... |

Lara Croft is getting on in years, but I have to say, she is looking pretty damn good. Considering she has been attacked by crocodiles, gorillas and lions, been impaled on spikes, drowned, burned by lava and broken every bone in her well-proportioned body, by ill-timed jumps and landings, no one is more a survivor than Lara Croft:Tombraider. This time around, at the risk of comparing her prowess to another game, she appears to have a sort of Prince of Persia climbing ability. Much more graceful and acrobatic.
