Can you elaborate? You mean saved? No, they're not. P.S. wrong category.

    Edit: moved.

SALTing is a method of cryptography for further protection of passwords when they're stored.

As sjc said, are passwords on the server saved as plaintext or are they encrypted?

What do you mean they're not 'saved?' If they're not saved or stored in a database, how would they be retrievable when a player tries to log in? lawl

    Hello @FoxtrotCentauri,
I would say that the passwords would be encrypted incase they were ever leaked onto external services for protection measurements. Though I am not certain of this outcome, so I would advise you to ask a Head-Admin+ who may have insight regarding this.

A password looks like this for us:
    OSDAHJFG09DFRG0ESAUGASDG0DSFUFG0A(*^F0sd7g08sf7g

    Something like that.

There's a major difference between encryption and SALTed. And yes that's kinda a stupid question anyways. Why would you store a password in a database in plain text lol?
