»Early 2019 Suggestions

    Hey guys before starting on the main topic let me take few second of your to say "A Very Happy New Year 2019" and lets all take up a new resolution and lets try to achieve it . If you asked me for my New Year Resolution, it would be to find out who I am.

    OK now going back to the topic, Suggestion for factions . I have been hearing a lots of suggestion the past few months and I will try my best to compile them into this post . So here we start . Grab yourself some popcorn and enjoy the show !!

    1) The most asked my new players when they join "How Do We Rank Up" . So we all know we can either spend real money or we can buy ranks with trades which is perfectly fine , but there are still times when players get scammed and they don't have proper proof to ban the other guy. So to like completely stop Trade scams we should add some minor ranks which can be bought by in-game money.

    2) Adding Rank(s) to crates : So some of you might think this is like too op but believe me in 100s maybe only 5 players gets kit potsupplies from vote crates . Also you guys might be thinking that players having Donator may win the same rank then WHAT!! don't worry , I want these ranks to be redeemable just like kits So, if a player already has the same rank they can sell it . Pretty Dope right . As the Crates become more op add better ranks.

    3) This might be crazy but I think we should add custom enchants . Don't get pissed off wait wait i never told CE for PvP . In my opinion new players dont have the money to buy trench pixaxe and hence they can't do too much of base work during the grace time hence we should add some CE for "MINING" u got it right. Enchants like Blast or maybe like Driller may be as much as helpful as Trenches but remember to make them less Powerful that Trench Pix else no one will buy the latter :/

    4) Add Horizontal Nether gen Buckets .. you may ask why --> Well simple we don't want to place nether block by hand during Nether Roofing xD .
    While at this topic maybe decrease the cool down for using the Gen Buckets .

    5) Now coming to raiding .. Add back the TnT damage its both a win - win situation since If we are raiding someone the enemy can easily patch naked without the fear of dieing from the tnt damage which makes them easier to patch walls on the other hand Players who are raiding also needs to stay near the walls to load the chunk and believe me they also get hit by tnt many die too xD (saying from experience) hence this might give the enemy a chance to attack back .

    6) Coming to Grinding/Spawners --> They are all fine just 1 thing , make it more interesting you might ask how well add Upgrade System to Spawners . For Example : Normal Creeper Spanwer lvl 1 drops only gun powder --> lvl 2 drops 50% gun powder and 50% TnT ---> lvl3 Drops 100% TnT . Make it a bit costly to upgrade but not impossible . This might effect the gameplay a lot (in a positive way).

    Since we are talking about stuffs inside bases lets talk about "Faction Core" I don't know how much of a good suggestion it will be but Faction Cores is an object(maybe a becon) which should be placed in claimed land anywhere but once its broken the land can be edited by enemies but cant be claimed. Maybe add some buffs to the becon / Core leveling it up might give u more power / more land claims or other good stuffs .

    7) Now coming to some personal/Faction Booster: Add personal /Faction Sell Boosters (With like big cool-downs like 4 days or shits ) and costing like flipping 1mil or some thing expensive .
    Faction Upgrades like Regen , Haste and Stuff might be cool too .

    8) Coming to Ranks : Everything is Fine tbh except i think few stuffs like Hero and Above should get /feed , Titans Should have a Buff in their kit (P5 plz) .

    9) Add Igs back to shop lel .

    Edits :

    10) Add a system of breaking Spawners with hand so that players can't take away all the spawners soo fast in a raid . This would ensure a good fun raid / If the hand mining is too much then just add some value they need to pay to silk touch each spawners maybe like 100k for mining each spawners.

    11)Add ./printer where the items being printed are automatically bought from shop . This will help builders as well as cannoners to do their work faster .

    Everything looks good but bringing back tnt damage is a horrible idea. Every faction server has tnt damage disabled. Also kids like clicker (jk) will be able to tnt spawn again . Also for the spawners upgrades that's a good idea but we should be able to rank em up with xp :D

    Well I appreciate the admins for trying their (best?? :thinking:;D ) to make GC factions a better place however there's always loads that can be improved and raiding/cannoning is one of them.

    As for "people cannoning spawn" ;) - I've actually done that for 3 - 4 times in the past prior to explosion damage being disabled. And it's never really gotten out of hand until one day other people started to cannon spawn themselves. Admins can easily isolate spawn from explosion damage if you're worried about dying at spawn. Besides, there are protection blocks already present that prevents that from happening.

    The point in enabling Explosion damage would be aimed towards striking up a good balance between raiding/cannoning and defending your base against attackers as it has become extremely easy to fly up to your base walls invisible and patch ever since genbuckets were introduced as Gunnu explained. Like what de heck.

    I actually would not mind if explosion damage remains disabled (I'm one of the people who constantly die from explosions >_<).

    Not only can the defending faction easily patch their walls, but they may easily mine spawners during a raid in less than half the time it takes to build a cannon; this too is disadvantageous to raiders and is (super cheesey and really annoying:confused:).
    My solution to this would be to add back spawner taxes so that a fee would be required to take down spawners.

    Cannoning has become smoother after the addition of schematic/printer, sand/cobble genbuckets, and with the noticeable improvement of TNT (thanks axed), but I believe this aspect of factions needs balancing out. Raiding is the key element of factions, and without it, it would just be plain survival D:
